Jonas Weikel is an abstract artist based in Sweden, working primarily with acrylic on 3D canvas. His paintings are defined by rich textures, often incorporating sand to create layered, tactile surfaces.

His work is driven by emotion rather than subject, drawing inspiration from human encounters and the depth of individual experiences. Each piece evolves intuitively, guided by feeling rather than a predetermined idea. For Jonas, a painting is complete when the emotion it carries reaches a sense of internal balance — whether calm or intense.
